  • Owner: Noel May authorized R.A. Jackson to receive payment on his behalf. Enslaved: not named. Given for the period of Dec 1862, Jan-Feb 1863. Witnesses: Robert T Graves, J. M. Krider, Jos. B. Willis, H. W. Gordon, K. C. Garnett.
  • Owner Gibbon S Conway of Madison County authorized A.D. Almond or T. H. Gibbons of Greene County to receive payment on his behalf. Enslaved: 4, not named. Given for the period Jan-Feb 1863. Witnesses: Robert A. Banks, William B. Raun (?), Milton Edding. Signed at Conway's residence 25 Jun 1863.
  • 6 slave owners authorized George A. Hume to collect payment on their behalf. They did not the enslaved. The 6 owners were: Thomas Jones, Ambrose Jones, William Brown, Daniel J. Smoot, William Lovel, Jonathan Roberts.
