as suggested in the Journal of the Friends Historical Society volume 23 p 57 https://sas-space.sas.ac.uk/6766/1/Vol.%2023%20No%201-2%20-%201926.pdf
Peter Cook was the son of John Crook and Margaret, and was born in Cheapside in 1649 (this is before the couple became Quakers.) no evidence for the birth date or place has been found but there is some evidence from Peter's marriage record (son of John, from Luton) and his daughter's marriage record (daughter of Peter of Hartford; NB John Crook moved from Luton to Hartford after his wifes death, he died there)
- Peter Crook married at Devonshire House, in 1674, Elizabeth Watts, spinster, daughter of Judith Watts, of Spitalfields, and had, with other issue, Judith Crook, born at Luton in 1682, who married John Nicholls, son of Thomas Nicholls, of Queenhithe, and had a daughter.
