The Constance made numerous voyages to the Australian Colonies in the 19th Century
The 578 ton barque Constance built at Ayres Quay in county Durham by Wm Hy Pearson in 1848. She was described as a Clipper barque in some records as she mainly carried wool from the Australian Colonies to England. She also made numerous voyages to the Australian Colonies in the mid 1900s with immigrants, including these voyages from Passengers in History and Bound For South Australia :
- From London on 16th May, 1848 - arriving at Adelaide on 26th August, 1848. Captain John Bulwer Godfrey (211 Government immigrants.)
- From London & later Plymouth Sunday, August 19, 1849 - arriving at Port Adelaide on Monday, November 5, 1849. Captain John Bulwer Godfrey.
