Coomera Cemetery (also known as Lower Coomera Cemetery)

The one hectare Coomera Cemetery was gazetted in 1881 and is controlled by the City of Gold Coast as trustee. The cemetery has monumental and lawn sections and an Islamic section. There is also an ashes wall (Columbarium).

The earliest recorded burial is William Wilson, who was buried in 1867. As at 2009 there were 210 burials and 30 ashes interments. About 25% of the burials are in unmarked graves.
