Cornwallis (Ship 1856)

The Cornwallis made numerous voyages to the Australian Colonies in the 19th Century
The 648 ton barque Cornwallis was built at Newcastle-upon-Tyne by T. & W. Smith in 1856. She made numerous voyages to and from the Australian Colonies; including this one from the Passengers in History website:

From London on Friday, May 19, 1865 - arriving at Port Adelaide on Friday, August 25, 1865. Captain Captain T.G. Vaile carrying 283 Immigrants.
