Provincial Categories Team Leader Role Description

Purpose of Role: To ensure all category structures and name formats meet the approved Irish Roots Project criteria for County locations.
Reports To: Categories Team Leader
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Provincial level Category Team workflow and oversee County sub-teams
- Review requests for new structures with the Category Planning Team members
- Assist with changes to category placement and naming format of categories as needed
- Maintain a list of current tasks for Provincial teams to work from
- Communicate with Team Members and sub-team leaders on a regular basis
- Communicate with Categories Team Leader on a regular basis
- Assist with project tasks
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong people skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Have a solid understanding of Irish Roots Project categories and hierarchy structure
- Have a solid understanding of the Honour Code
