Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

The Cowhick Project is a family interest. I prefer to investigate distant relatives during the Colonial and Revolutionary Era and this is where I like to focus my attention.

Research around this period is flimsy at best but I am willing to convey what little I know about this family with the hope that we can reciprocate in turn.

Let's begin.

The Fair Play Settlers of the West Branch Valley, 1769-1784 by George D. Wolf. URL(http://www.gutenberg.org/files/22471/22471-h/22471-h.htm)...

During this time but maybe also during the transition, although sad I think, there is hardly any information except bits and pieces scattered in hard to find resources. The Cowhick name changed to Cohick after settling in the Fair Play Territory before 1785. There is no evidence as to when the Cowhick Family settled in the area. If by chance you know anything about the Cowhick Family, I will reciprocate in kind.

Allow some time to upload a partial GEDCOM.
