It's easy and free to make your own e-cards on WikiTree.
2.) Upload an image to any of your profiles.
3.) Click the "e-card" button beneath the image.
That's it. There are no gimmicks or spammy tricks. There aren't even any advertisements on the e-cards.
One of the wonderful things about the e-cards on WikiTree is that the cards can link to more pictures, family trees, biographies, memories, personal comments, and whatever extra information you want to add about a family, person, place, pet, or event. All this can be private to just people you designate, or public as an historical resource ... whichever you choose.
Here's an example from me, Chris Whitten, the creator of WikiTree.
For Father's Day I could send my father a card with the image on the right of a model ship built by his grandfather.
The "details" page for the image includes a link to a custom profile with all sorts of information about these models ships. It also links to the personal profile of Edward D. Whitten with photos and information about him and our complete family tree.
