Description of Error - 775: Wrong character in Last Name at Birth

In Last Name at Birth there is unusual character.

Content of info column: Wrong and correct character and country where this error is common.

Possible Causes

This usually happens with imported gedcoms, where the gedcom file was exported with wrong character.

Action Steps

Correct misspelled character. You can find correct spelling in info column of the report.

Error Status

For each Error you can set status. You can set it as Corrected, Not corrected, False Error, Proposed merge or just add a Comment.

If there are related errors for the profile, you will also see them on status page.

Country is extracted from Location fields. So to remove the error, enter birth or death location with country.

I will add Conceição and Sebastião as an exception. It will remove most of false errors.

You can also just click False error link ad the right and it will be removed..

It says "ão --> ô (France (OK in Portuguese) (New))" and on some of them there is a bottom "correct". Last week I edited these profiles for language, adding portuguese, but error is still in the report.
