Description of Error - 785: Wrong character in Current Last Name

An unusual character not normally used in a name is in the Current Last Name field.

Content of info column: Wrong and correct character and country where this error is common.

Possible Causes

This usually happens with imported gedcoms, where the gedcom file was exported with wrong character.

Action Steps

Correct misspelled character. You can find correct spelling in info column of the report.

Error Status

For each Error you can set status. You can set it as Corrected, Not corrected, False Error, Proposed merge or just add a Comment.

If there are related errors for the profile, you will also see them on status page.
