The goal of this project is to remember the service of Aircrew of all nations who took part in the Dams Raid in Germany on the night of 16/17 May 1943

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Geoffrey Raebel. My father was based nearby and I have become Editor of the Bomber command in Australia Newsletter for Veterans and their families. I have found a slim book printed by Pen and Sword in 2013 that contains some excellent genealogical information on some of the crews involved

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

• For the present I will populate the families with known information
• Over 50 airmen were killed that night and it must be acknowledged that over a 1000 civilians, half of whom were slave labourers
