Daniel and Jennette Ferguson kept birth, marriage and death records in the center section of their bible. This bible was presented to Jeannette by Rev. Bradford Lincoln of the Baptist Church in Essex, Connecticut not far from Norwalk where Daniel and Jeannette lived before coming to Oregon. Jill Foster (Lonski- 12) copied by hand these records in December of 2006. At that time this Bible was in the hands of Elizabeth Coursen Miller who told me this record had been updated by Margaret Ferguson Reynolds, Bessie Reynolds Cabell and herself.
