Daniel J Lynch Family Bible

  • This is the family Bible for the Daniel J Lynch and Margaret M Lynch family.
  • It's a well worn but barely used Catholic Douay version Bible of average size.
  • My family does NOT know any of the Lynch's! I decided to put their family Bible online so that if someday a descendant of Daniel J and Margaret M Lynch should be searching, they might find this information.
  • The only source of the Bible that we can think of is that my Mom liked to visit yard sales, and may have picked this up there. That would likely have been sometime between 2000 and 2012, in south Tampa, in Florida.
  • Note: This page was originally titled the David J Lynch Family Bible page, due to my own terrible transcription error! It looked like David to me, and it never occurred to me it might be Daniel! Obviously, it IS Daniel, and the family has been found on Ancestry.com (but no living descendants yet).

Boy born to Daniel J and
Margaret M. Lynch Sunday
August 13? - 1905 12.30 Am. 10 lb.
Theodore Francis DeSaleo? Lynch
Russell Joseph Lynch
Born January 9 1911
Monday 12.20 a.m 12 lbs?
Note: I believe that August 13 is correct. If you look closely, it appears they originally put a 12, then later corrected it to 13. That is probably because she probably began to give birth on the 12th, but baby didn't arrive until after midnight, at 12:30am (which for them was still the night of the 12th). Later, they realized that made it the 13th. That's an easy mistake to make under the circumstances!
Note: I've tried but DeSaleo is the best I can come up with. Hopefully, someone else can do better! His birth information was entered in 1905, but apparently they did not have a name for him then. They appear to have entered it in 1911, when entering the next son.
Names appearing (facts):
Theodore Francis DeSaleo? Lynch (b. 13 Aug 1905)
Russell Joseph Lynch (b. 9 Jan 1911)
