• 1638 -- David Wheeler, age 13, in emigrated from England to Massachusetts Bay Colony on the ship "Confidence" with a friend of his father, John Wheeler. John Wheeler and his wife had previously emigrated from England to Massachusetts Bay Colony without David. David joined his parents at Agawam [Ipswich], Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.
• 1645 -- David Wheeler moved from Hampton, [Norfolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony -- now Rockingham County, New Hampshire] to Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.^[5]
• September 1646 -- David Wheeler "of Hampton" had to appear in court at Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony for the offense of gathering peas on the Sabbath Day.^[5]
