The goal of this project is to ... Find the links from Canada back to France via Hiram DrGraff

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Tanya Lowry. Descendant of Hiram.

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

  • find proof of Hiram DeGraff's father and Grandfather
  • find ship passenger lists from Holland to New Amsterdam.
  • sort the mystery of the French Huguenots and DeGraff

Hi Tanya. I seem to have a similar issue as yourself with my third great grandfather James Minor DeGraff of Amsterdam, New York.. cir 1805 I’ve asked for help in the past and never got any so I became discouraged. Id never thought about the Huguenot idea until I read your post but that might be worth investigating.. There have been multiple people in my family try to find records to prove James’s birth or immigration path or so I’ve been told. But id be willing to help.
