Delphos is a city in Allen, Putnam, and Van Wert counties in Ohio. It is nicknamed the Tri-County City. Famous residents include Delphos native and astronomer, Leslie Peltier and writer, Zane Grey who played on a local baseball team when he resided in Delphos. Delphos was one of the first towns founded along the Miami-Erie Canal.
