How to Join
If you are interested in helping with Devon, (and are not already a member of the England Project) then please look at the England Project page and sign up via the G2G post mentioned there. If you have any questions about Devon, please contact the team leader, Oscar Evans.
Tasks
- Focus on Devon county profiles for profile improvement (sourcing, connecting, merging duplicates, correcting database errors, writing biographies), generally and during challenges and Thons. You can find profiles that need work at the following links:
- Create profiles for prominent or notable Devon-based individuals and connect them up to the global WikiTree.
- Research and update profiles on WikiTree relevant to prominent Devon families e.g., Courtenay.
- Update maintenance templates on Devon county profiles, including 'Unsourced' and 'Estimated Date' templates.
Remember we will largely be working in the context of profiles that are managed by other people. Always endeavour to discuss any major changes you may wish to make to a profile with the profile manager/s involved.

My issue is that the site could be so much better, and easier to use, with a simple rename of images. I will get off my soap box now and thanks for the pointer to UK Flags. Will add that to the search list. Craig.
As Craig noted, there wasn't a Devon county flag uploaded to this page until about a month ago when I linked the one from the UK Flags page.
