MEMORIAL DRIVE, DEVONPORT - AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND

An Avenue of Norfolk Pines and Pohutukawa trees lines the road into Devonport, each tree individually planted in memory of a serviceman who fell during the Second World War 1939 -1945.

Each serviceman here is listed in the order in which his memorial plaque will be found beneath a tree when driving toward Devonport.
