Brown, William: Unknown; 1639; Boston (servant; apprenticeship record only) [Lechford 188].
Brown, William: Unknown; 1639; Sudbury [SuTR 3; MBCR 1:378; NEHGR 52:336-37; MPR Case #3233].
Brown, William: Unknown; 1640; Salem, Gloucester [Lechford 406; WP 4:165-66; SChR 11; EPR 1:102, 386-88; Farr Anc 43-44 (some items included from the William Brown of Salem above)].
In particular, the William Brown of Salem and the William Brown who removed from Salem to Gloucester have been conflated in many published genealogies, but were different people.
