Surname/tag: Morgan
The issue is the use of selected data from sources to prove the birthplace of this man. It has been stated that John Morgan born September 6, 1801 in Wales is often mistaken for John Morgan born August 18, 1801 in Chester, PA. They are two different people with two different birth dates.
- "Ohio Deaths, 1908-1953," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:X8LP-MFF : 8 March 2021), Josiah S Morgan, 25 Mar 1920; citing New Boston, Scioto Co., Ohio, reference fn 25275; FHL microfilm 1,991,072.
Death record for Josiah being used to prove his father was born in Wales also shows that his mother was Mary Long….. the data on that record is questionable.
