Surnames/tags: Cemeteries One_Place_Studies
This cemetery may also be referred to as Fuller's Chapel Cemetery and is located in the small community known as Dismal near Liberty and Dowelltown. There is no direct cemetery caretaker, it appears to be maintained by the local community. The Cemetery is a short distance from the Chapel which is a short jaunt down the hill.
The first burial, that is currently know, occured on the 4th of March, 1858 where little James T Neal (1856-1858) was laid to rest.
To date there is no known sextant listing for the cemetery.
A tombstone to memorialize those without markers has been ordered and anticipated to be placed by the end of 2023.

Questions
- Montie Lee Rowland(1919-1936) is listed in the Cemetery Book, so is Montie Lee Rowland 1919-1919(sic) are these the same, but possible twins. Did not see a 2nd tombstone, only 1919-1919
- Thomas Jackson Bain and Andrew Jackson Bain are likely same person
- I suspect that John Crook and his wife Charolotte Fry Crook are located in this cemetery as well

Just thought I’d throw something out there about the Billie Crook listing. My mother told me that many years ago she saw a stone that said Billie Crook, (My brother’s name was Billy Crook) But, when we started working on our genealogy we couldn’t find it. So, my feeling is that Billie and Tom are 2 different people.
Also nice to meet a cousin, as I'm a descended of Robinson Crook and Selena Etheridge(and various Spelling's)
Once I have a place down there, I may see what it takes to look for sunken stones and risks involved.

Shows the remainder of the tombstones/Rocks that I haven't added yet
Some have initials such as TDD - who is likely a Driver, others as JTC who is likely a crook.
I need go back through them in the next few weeks and see if any might correlate to the ones I have listed as having no tombstone.
thanks, lyn
