The goal of this project is to ...identity correct NC decendants

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Cathy Dison.

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

  • identifying family members
  • trying to sort out the Solomon Dysons

We are from NC and are looking for that side of the Dison/Dysons. Don't know if there is a connection to Ga and Tx Dysons. This is where we really need help.

Nancy (Hattaway) Johnson
I am a descendent of Dyson/Dison from NC, Columbia County, the Cape Fear area. My GG Grandmother was a Dyson and there are also the ties on my GG Grandfather's side, too. James Hamilton Dyson was my 3X Great Grandfather. Much of our family migrated to Macon County, GA. Could it be that we are related? - Nancy
