We the undersigned as devisees of Major Rowley decd have this day made and allotment and division of the slaves of said Estate being the residue of said slaves, after deducting those slaves retained and chosen by Alice Rowley the widow, to wit, Milly, Nancy, Clara, Edwin, Bob, Henry, Jim, Lewis, and Willis. Nancy and Jim, are alotted and set apart unto Mary Barnett and J J Barnett her husband, Nancy at the price of Eight hundred Dollars and Jim at the price of Eight hundred and seventy five Dollars, Clara is alotted unto Sarah St. Aubin and John K. St Aubin her husband at the price of Eight hundred Dollars, Milly is alotted unto Ann T Riddle and Benjamin F. Riddle her husband at the price of Eight hundred Dollars, Edwin & Lewis are alotted unto Jane Rowley at the price of Eleven hundred Dollars for Edwin and Eight hundred Dollars for Lewis. Henry and Willis are alotted unto Robert Rowley at the price of one thousand Dollars for Henry and five hundred Dollars for Willis and Bob is allotted unto Gustavus Rowley at the price of Eleven hundred Dollars. The total value of said Slaves is Seven thousand seven hundred & seventy five Dollars and each share Twelve hundred ninety five Dollars Eighty three and one third cents and we have severally executed and received each others notes for the Excess and deficiency above and below said amount.

I Jeff Brown Clerk of the County Court of Union County in the State of Kentucky do certify that the foregoing Deed of Partition between Robert Rowley Gustavus Rowley J J Barnett John K St Aubin B F Riddle Jane S Rowley Sarah E St Aubin Ann F Riddle and Mary V Barnett was this produced to me in said and acknowledged by the said parties to be their act and deed, and ordered to record, whereupon said Deed and this certificate are duly admitted to record in my office. Witness my hand this 26th day of April 1834.
