The Dolphin was a pub located at 104 High Street in Maldon. Its licence was transferred in 1907 to the Swan, on the same street. The building that had formerly housed the Dolphin currently houses Euronics - Foulkes Electrical.

- 10 Sept 1857: "James Matthams, of the Dolphin beerhouse, and Thomas Ewars, of the Star beerhouse, applied for spirit licenses, and, no opposition being offered, they were both granted."[1]
- 3 Jan 1871: "The licence of the Dolphin was transferred from Henry Matthams to Geo. Saunders"[2]
- 10 Sept 1872: "The following innkeepers applied for an extension of time during the fair: ...and Mr. Saunders, Dolphin, for booth on Fair Field until 12 on Friday and Saturday… Mr. Saunders, of the Dolphin, and Mr. Rudrum, of the Chequers, who had applied, through Mr. Evans, for permission to use bagatelle boards in their houses, received authority so to do…"[3]
- 11 Aug 1885: "The licence of the Dolphin Inn was transferred from George Saunders to Charles Rudlen, late of Heybridge."[4]
- 5 Feb 1907: "Mr. H. J. Freeman, on behalf of Mr. C. H. W. Conn, the tenant of the Dolphin inn, High-street, applied for the removal of the licence of that house to the Swan inn, nearly opposite... After the Bench had retired for discussion, they returned and granted the removal, subject to the promised improvements."[5]
