Grifiths Valuation.:Bushmills village is named after a large watermill that was built on the River Bush in the early 17th century. Bushmills village had a population of 1,319 in the 2011 Census. The village is best known as the location of the Old Bushmills Distillery and also provides services for visitors to the Giant's Causeway World Heritage Site.[1] The part of the village west of the River Bush is in Dunluce Civil Parish, including townlands Ballaghmore aka Bushmills, and Glebe. The part of the village east of the River Bush is in Billy Civil Parish, including townlands Magheraboy aka Bushmills, Ballyness, and part of Clogher North.
