The voyage of the immigrant ship Durham to South Australian in the first half of 1879

The Durham (ship 998 tons) departed from London on February 19 and later Plymouth, England on 28 February 1879. Arrived at Port Adelaide on 14 May 1879. Immigrants to South Australia, (UK, assisted passage) 1847-1886 "Durham 1879" Passenger List: Captain Charles Seymour and Dr. W. Johnston, Surgeon Superintendent and 393 Government immigrants; Three children had died on this voyage of 74 days.
