In my many years of research, for myself and others, I have written about a wide range of topics. The attached stories include French privateers in the Seven Years War and the Napoleon era. Letters of a Sgt. and a Major during the U.S. CIvil War and the military records of many others. Pioneer settlers in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. Immigrants from Ireland and Scotland. Others from Poland, Hungary and a Syrian from Lebanon. Alabama farmers, a Tennessee teacher and a Detroit policemen. A reunion of families from Indiana in California. A traveling salesman and a missing cowboy. Flatboating down the Ohio and Mississippi rivers and digging for gold in California. With more to be added.
