Introduction
This page contains indexes for the FamilySearch record collection Canada, British Columbia Estate Files, 1859-1949, with a focus on deaths that occurred prior to 1900.
Estate files can be a valuable source of information for researchers, and may contain information about an individual's family members, their possessions, the circumstances of their death, etc. These files sometimes contain copies of an individual's death registration certificate, which may not be otherwise available to view online.
