Eastman Immigrants
The primary Eastman immigrant was Roger Eastman (abt.1613-1694) who was born somewhere in England about 1613. He migraged from Southhampton in April, 1638, in the ship Confidence, John Jobson, master, bound for Massachusetts Bay Colony[1] as a servant of John Saunders. He is considered primary because most Eastmans in the United States today are descended from him with few exceptions.
