Bibb County Orphans Court Minutes 1818-1825 page 18 last paragraph, 24 October 1821

Catherine Latham widow and relict of William Latham late of Bibb County deceased appeared in open court and voluntary relinquished her right to administer on the Estate of deceased husband. William Garner next of kin by right of affinity did in like manner and John Lolly next of kin by right of affinity in manner declining as appears by affadavit of James Latham taken _____. motion of James Latham Brother of the deceased and Joseph Smitherman Brother of the relict. Ordered that letters of administration be committed to the said James and Joseph who took the oaths prescribed by law who together Catherine Latham & W illiam Garner entered into and executed their bonds the final sum of four thousand dollars which bonds described are approved.

Appraisal of Estate was dated 6 November 1821. Appraisers were: Isaac Suttle, Jesse Potter and John Wilson.

Estate sale was conducted on 25 February 1822.

Final Estate settlement was dated 10 may 1823. Widow and relict Catherine Latham, Heirs listed:
