Introduction

Having consistent and thorough citations is one way we can make WikiTree even better. The goal of this project is to provide guidance on making full reference notes using the Evidence Explained citation style. If you'd like to help, please use the third edition of Evidence Explained.[1] The purpose of this project is not to be exhaustive, but to provide citation examples for some of the more common sources that WikiTree members may use. Feel free to add to list if you feel something is missing.

Right now this project just has one member, me. I am Jason Tilley.

Here are some of the tasks that I think need to be done. I'll be working on them, and could use your help.

  • Edit the project page to provide citation styles and examples for various types of sources
  • Develop EE citation style templates

Will you join me? Please post a comment here on this page, in G2G using the project tag, or send me a private message. Thanks!
