Fitz Randolphs in England after Edward
North American Fitz Randolphs are familiar with Edward the Pilgrim and his family before him, but there doesn't seem to be good information about the fate of the Fitz Randolph family that was left behind in England in 1630, nor do we hear of any branches existing there today or associated dna matches. Can we help to build the tree down from Edward's family and ancestors to learn more and fill the gaps?
Overview of how the family has evolved after Edward left
Does anyone have any information to add here?
"I read somewhere on the web (can't recall where ) that the Edward FitzRandolph's line in England died out in mysterious circumstances . Do you know anything about this ? Ferdinand FitzRandolphe of Kirkby-in-Ashfield wouldn't subscribe to the Protestation returns after the restoration of the monachy, so I wonder if this was a factor in the family downfall ?" Posting in Spokt Fitz Randolph site; over 16 years ago by Barry Roper
Some old postings cite a publication named the "FitzRandolph line in England" - does anyone know it?
What else could we do?
It seems the main approach to learning more would be to start researching Edward's family and those of his ancestors, filling in more information about his siblings and their descendants. Anyone up for this!
Other suggestions?
