The Farmington Monthly Meeting was established in 1803, when it was set off from the Saratoga Monthly Meeting, under Easton Quarterly. It became a part of Farmington Quarterly Meeting in 1810, when it was established. After the Separation, the Hicksite branch became a part of Genesee Yearly Meeting. It changed to an executive meeting in 1887, a meeting quarterly, and was laid down in 1927. The Orthodox branch, which became a united meeting in 1955, remains active to date.
