History/Timeline
- Fleming County was formed in 1798 from part of county. It was named for John Fleming.
Government Offices
- The first courthouse was a log structure erected after 1798.
- The second courthouse was a two story structure built by Samuel Stockwell in 1828 to 1830. An addition was built in 1869.
- The third and present courthouse was constructed in 1952 to 1953.
- The County Judicial Center was constructed in 2009 to 2011 at a cost of $13,500,000.

- Fleming County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. Its county seat is Flemingsburg.
