James Fogarty from Liverpool was in St Patrick's Hospital, Ireland in 1940 - 43 could of been longer, got no further information, as to whether he stayed and died in Ireland or whether he came back to Liverpool. Picture of Mary Ann Fogarty Bly(e) My great grandmother, Mary Ann Fogarty Bly(e) (1859-1950) supposedly was born in China (March 1859). No written family history to confirm how/when she arrived in the U.S.A. In 1870 "Mary Ann Fogarty" was in the census record of John and Margaret Ryan in NW Pennsylvania. She may have been a relative of the Ryans or Mary Duffy. Does anyone have info about a child born in 1859 in China where her parents might have been there for the British army? Thank you!
