The Monument dedicated to the Founders of Hartford is located in the Ancient Burying Ground, Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut, located on Main Street, between Gold and Pearl Streets. It was erected in 1989 replacing the original brownstone monument erected in 1837. The 1837 monument did not contain as many names as are now included. old list (I think)
