Using Images

The minimum needed to insert a photo is {{image|file=filename.jpg}}, all other fields are for customisation and accessability and are optional. There is no way to add alt text to a photo on a WikiTree Profile or Project.

File: This is the last part of the URL (after the terminal back slash). Copy the file name from below, or navigate to the image and copy directly from the URL bar.
Align: The options available are to delete this line for no alignment; or enter 'l' for left alignment, 'c' for centre alignment, or 'r' for right alignment.
Size: Either delete this line to not control size, or enter a number that represents how many pixels wide the image will be.
Link: To link to the full size of the image, either copy the link from below, or navigate to the image and copy the entire address from the URL bar. To link to any other page, navigate to the page and copy the entire address from the URL bar.
Caption: Enter the text you'd like to see appear underneath the image. Using <br> to help with how the text looks.
