Alayna: We had a baby squirrel that would come up to our door to beg. Michael had befriended it while he was building a fence for our home. He was a tiny, cute thing!

Lyrae: My Great Grandpa Hyames was my Grandma Delight's dad.
She used to tell me stories about his cuddly and sweet pet raccoon. I don't remember his name for sure but I think it was Bandit.
Grandma Delight said that her dad used to put things in his front shirt pocket and Bandit would sit on his shoulder and fish around to get it out!

Lyrae: When I was 5-years-old, my dog Snoopy found a little baby Possum under her dog house.
We kept it in the tub in a box until dad got home. He took me to a library to research a good name for the little one. After much debate and digging through several books ...he was properly named "Tubby" (after the book Tubby the Turtle). I thought this was a perfect name since he was living in a box in our bathtub.
After naming him we took him down to a river bank and released him into the wild again. Snoopy was disappointed...she liked nuzzling him.
