Am 23.04.1901 soll Mathias Gasper in Bankston, Iowa, USA, Helena (Lena) geb. Rauen (*11.09.1878) geheiratet haben?!? Mathias Gaspar und Mathias Gasper sind 1954 verstorben; M. Gaspar in der BRD und M. Gasper in den USA.
In another family chronicle a Mathias GaspEr is mentioned with the same date (*14. Dez 1878) and place of birth and the same parents as my great-grandfather (Mathias GaspAr). This Mathias Gasper had emigrated to New York in 1892, leaving Antwerp, with the ship "Westerland" to the USA and had arrived in New York on 30.11.1892. On 23.04.1901 Mathias Gasper is said to have married Helena (Lena) née Rauen (*11.09.1878) in Bankston, Iowa, USA ?!? Mathias Gaspar and Mathias Gasper died in 1954; M. Gaspar died in Germany and M. Gasper died in the USA.
