- Giraffe 30 12 1835 Fremantle London | via Cape of Good Hope 22 children from the Childrens Friends Society were on board
- The Perth Gazette and Western Australian Journal: January 2 1836; On the 30th Dec, the Giraffe, Captain H Burn, from London. -Passengers: Mrs. Wittenoom, Mr. Wittenoom, Mr Whitengton, Mr. Manson, and four steerage. Ten boys and girls from the Children Friends' Society. From Cape, Mr. Waylen.
- The Perth Gazette and Western Australian Journal: January 9 1836; 'All persons desirous of engaging the services of the children of the Emigration Society, lately arrived by the Giraffe, are requested to apply to the Colonial Chaplain, 'Rev. J. B Wittenoom, Perth; or to the Government Resident, R. Mc B. Brown, Esq, at Fremantle.
