Death records

This section will tabulate all the death records for a common name, to help make sure we have attached the right death record to the right person.

Unsolved mysteries / unattached clues

  • John Glasgow(senior) 1898 has a Will Calendar entry but no civil registration death record. Wife Martha dies in 1894 (has newspaper obituary
  • Who is the father of David (b. 1836) - name James.
  • Maude Glasgow (abt.1876-1955) is a mystery. The wiki article (and a Mid-Ulster Mail piece) says her father was Silas Glasgow of Killycurragh and she was born 1876. However, Silas Ebenezer Glasgow (abt.1825-1875) died 1875 and I have found no suggestion of any other Silas Glasgow. Nor do there seem to be any compatible posthumous birth records to his wife. There is Silas William Glasgow (1844-1913) but he is claimed to marry in the US in 1870.
  • 1869 William child of William & Jane McCartland of Ballynagilly. We don't have them yet.

TODO

  • Build out Glasgow-1681 (James Glasgow / Rachel Bell of Ballynasollus), his brother (in law?) Andrew Boon is a clue for obituary matching.
