- Grifiths Valuation.:Glenavy is a village 11 miles/17 km north west of Lisburn on the banks of the Glenavy River. Glenavy had a population of 5,697 people in the 2011 Census.[1] Glenavy village is mostly in Glenavy townland in Glenavy parish with a small part in Ballysessy townland in Camlin parish.
