Green Township is one of 13 Townships in Clinton County, Ohio. It is one of 16 Green Townships in the state of Ohio.
Once a part of Highland County, the land was transferred by the Ohio General Assembly so that Clinton County would have the constitutionally mandated 400 square miles. It was established in 1813.
