Greenwood Cemetery was established in 1850 when plots were sold by public auction.
It is the City's oldest active cemetery. The cemetery contains monuments that represent a wide segment of society, contrasting from some of the City's most influential families to fugitives. Victims of the cholera outbreak are also resting at Greenwood." [1]
