The Greer Family Cemetery is located on the family farm which is in Longwood township, Pettis county, Missouri. There is a satelite map on google.maps, you can see an area that looks like the area.

2016, No stones were cleanly still standing and most were either toppled, or completely buried under the earth where they'd fallen. With the underbrush so thick, it was quite impossible to find a lot or even try and get to some of the fallen stones.

The cemetery itself is off of State Hwy BB on Greer Road, past a 90 degree turn in the road on the left. Without a guide though, it would be impossible to find. The land is still predominately owned by family members, so I was fortunate when it came to that piece. I'm hoping to make another trip to Longwood early next Spring (2019) and possibly go back in there again when it's not so overgrown. Still a little too early yet to make any concrete plans though.

These were the best shots I could get of Orpha Swope Greer's gravestone, and I wasn't able to locate Davis Greer's gravestone, though I did find his footer.

Here is a note from McLaughlin Funeral Home. "I found the attached information on Greer Cemetery. Local historian, Betty Singer, shared this with me several years ago. I believe someone else had inquired about this cemetery and she was kind enough to share her notes which includes directions to the cemetery and sadly, that not much remains of the cemetery."
