History
Initial research indicates this cemetery was located somewhere on the property of the William Griffith family in the northwestern quadrant of Nicholas County. The DAR's Kentucky Cemetery Records[1] lists this cemetery in Harrison County, though no Harrison County research has corroborated that to date. Hick Hardy road crosses the county line between Harrison and Nicholas, so that may explain the confusion.
Publications
The DAR's work published in Kentucky Cemetery Records, Volume 1, was compiled from headstone transcriptions (in this case in 1951). That data is listed here in sortable table format. There is no explanation provided for the order of the listings there, but it may be ordered by location. The cemetery's exact location was unknown for many decades, but has been rediscovered in recent years, and several headstone photographs are available on FindaGrave.
