"The colliery was the property of Messrs. W. Harrison, Limited with Mr. N. Forrest, the agent and Mr. J. Patterson, the manager of the colliery. ... The jury brought in the following verdict... There is not sufficiently conclusive evidence to prove how the explosion occurred...We consider that the fireman Ashford carried out his duties efficiently."
