The Gungahlin Cemetery was opened in 1979 and is extensively landscaped. A large lake and many bird species help create a tranquil and peaceful environment.
Separate attractive areas are provided for lawn and monumental burials and for placing ashes.
The office is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30pm and is located within the cemetery grounds. The office is closed on weekends and public holidays. [1]
