Siffredh Piltti and Dionisius
The Hannula farm appears in the land records from 1540 to 1571 as owned by a Siffredh Ragualdsson Piltti.
Dionisius Siffredhsson Hannula was fined in 1571 for bad fences, bridges, roads and ditches, and the lack of hops.
From 1644 to 1828 the farm served as an academy farm, providing funding for the theological faculty of the Royal Academy of Finland in taxes. In the 1640s the farm was owned by Niilo Markunpoika.
Eric Marcusson's descendants
The next known owners of the farm were Eric Marcusson and his wives, both called Margareta from 1656 until 1697. Their descendants held the farm for over a hundred years.

Johan Kaaja
In the 19th century Johan Johansson Kaaja and his wife Anna Henricsdotter Karo took over the farm. Their son Henric Wilhelm Johansson Hannula and his wife Caisa Carolina Thomasdotter continued to maintain the farm.
