The Galbreath/Britton lines
While the Galbreath and Britton lines have two separate surnames, the origins of the two reflect an interesting point... the surnames are rooted in Gaelic, yet reflect the two lines were not Gaelic, but Brythonic ("Galbreath", for example, is derived from the elements gall ("stranger") + Breathnach ("Briton"), meaning "British foreigner". See the Wikipedia entry for Clan Galbraith for more.
